We're Back!!

Back to Arizona, back to blogging. We spent a whole month in Utah for Mike's Pharmacy rotation. Here are a few things we love about Utah(in no particular order)..
1. There are parades several weekends throughout the summer that you can watch without getting heat exhaustion. We enjoyed the Lindon Days parade with Mike's mom. Jaylee thought it was the best thing she had ever seen, sitting on a wagon and having people throw candy at her.

2. Grandparents: They do so much for us and are so good to play with Jaylee. She loves them to pieces. I feel lucky to have them as examples. They all have such amazing testimonies and have been wonderful parents and teachers.
3. Backyards. We failed to appreciate the luster of grass to play and sit on until we moved to Arizona and were greeted by the millions of rocks that they call "desert landscape."
4. Babysitters: It was so fun to have family that Jaylee loves watch her so Mike and I could go out a few times. It felt like we were dating again.
5, Friends- We loved being able to see old friends and catch up on old times. I am seriously so blessed to have such good friends in Utah and in Arizona.
6, Dogs: I'm almost convinced to get one for Jaylee. She absolutely loves them. She spent hours upon hours kissing, hugging, poking, pulling, and sitting on my parent's poor dog. One day we went out side to let Ellie(my gpa's dog) go potty, I look over at Jaylee to find her diaper less, squatting down and pushing. She was trying her hardest to go potty like a dog.

7, Camping: There are a million places to camp within a few minutes of where Mike and I grew up. We are both avid campers and are excited to instill our love for the outdoors upon Jaylee. We went camping with Mike's parents and spent a lot of our time four wheeling.

8, Uncles: Even though Jaylee is as shy as can be around them, they always take time to stop and play with her. She even learned all her uncles' names while we were there.

9, BYU sports: especially football. Mike was counting down the days to this game for months. My parents bought us all tickets for Mike's birthday. I'm sure this was his favorite present.
10, Sisters/Aunts: It was so fun to be with these girls again. They are all doing amazing things with their lives and I couldn't be prouder of them. Jaylee is in love with them as well and is now going through withdrawals without them.
11, Family(my mom is missing from this picture, she was at home watching Jaylee & Dylan): We had so much fun together for a month. I feel like we have the best family in the world. We get along so well and have fun doing anything together.

12, Extended family: We are completely spoiled not only by our families, but our extended family. We have some amazing Aunts, Uncles, Grandparents, and cousins that do so much for us. I honestly feel so blessed to have such support in my life.

13, Gardens: Because my family works so hard in their garden, we were fortunate to reap the benefits. My mom helped me can tomatoes, green beans, salsa, and apricots. It feels so good to increase our food storage.
14, Cousins: Jaylee absolutely loves her only cousin Dylan. She begged to play with him all of the time. It's too bad her play includes biting and pinching(we are trying are hardest to work on that.)

15, Through trials and fun, Jaylee, Mike and I were able to grow closer as a family and closer to our Heavenly Father.

16, The weather: Saturday morning before we left Utah,it got down to 55 degrees. Sunday morning here in Arizona it was 110 degrees. I love Arizona but I'm excited to go back to Utah's four seasons weather.

We had a great Vacation(well it was for me, Mike had to work everyday) and are so grateful again to my family for feeding and housing us for a whole month. We miss you already.
