Jaylee has been begging me for months now to ride on a bus. So we devoted an entire day to bus riding. We hopped on the city bus at the mall and went about 80 blocks to a Jamba Juice to enjoy a smoothie.
Highlights:
- The kids singing Jingle Bells on crowded bus in the middle of March. I’m sure the people around loved us.
- Jacey innocently asking if a man near us was a monster.
- The excitement of Jaylee’s first bus ride.
I love that simple things in life give children so much pleasure. My kids teach me each day how to find joy in the world around me. Being a mom is amazing.
