After a long, fairly typical day, the kids are finally in their room/beds for the night(I hope, it is nearly ten after all.) I’m exhausted(something else that is typical after chasing, feeding, disciplining, carrying, wiping, reading to, and playing with two kiddos all day) and I am enjoying being off my feet for more than a minute.
In their room Jaylee and Kyson are singing… Kyson doing his rendition of row row row your boat, followed by the “roun’ an’ roun" and “move back” of The Wheels on the Bus. Jaylee rotates from I Love to see the Temple to Strummin on the Ol’ Banjo. Their little voices, and these little moments renew and refresh me. I know I can do it all over again tomorrow.
I am blessed to be a mother! (and a little tired :) )
