We went with some good friends to Tracy Aviary. It was a perfect day: following peacocks, watching for owls, learning about various birds, spotting baby ducks in a bush.
This is very typical for Jaylee… always tends to hang out with the boys.
After our bird time, we went to a nearby park. The kids loved the splash pad, and just basking together in the sun .
The truth is, this post has been sitting in my draft folder for weeks. I keep attempting to write about these girls(the mothers of all these crazy kids) but no words seem sufficient. I know, corny… but I just love these women!! When I have a friend, I really have a friend and I love them to the core! I feel grateful that Heavenly Father has placed wonderful mothers and women around me in each phase of my life that He knew I should learn from. These women are Christlike and selfless. I often copy their mothering ideas, and go to them for advice. “I have been changed for the better” (-Wicked, the musical)
Soon, Ashley is headed to Germany. Thank goodness Sanz, and a few other great friends are only on the other side of Utah County.
We ended the day at a cute bakery eating donuts. Perfect.

Looks like a cool place. I don't think I've ever heard of it but will have to check it out sometime!
