Merry Christmas 2013
What a wonderful and blessed year it has been for us. We hope that each of you have felt the same.
Mike is pharmacy manager at Walgreens which gives him plenty to do. He received a hand-made guitar and taught himself how to play. The kids all enjoy strumming along while he plays the chords. He is our ward organist and after eight years of marriage we finally have a calling together of being primary teachers. He is a super hero to me and each of our children.
Chalece became a mother to her fourth child! She has her hands and heart full! She wants as much time with these kiddos as possible, so she has started the wonderful (slightly crazy) journey of home schooling. She learns as much each day as the kids do! After not playing a team sport for years, she is fulfilling a dream of playing again on a volleyball rec. team.
Jaylee is 6 years old and is our proof that time flies. She goes to first grade in the morning and then comes home for “home school” in the afternoons. This past year, she performed in her first play, “Peter Pan.” She also learned many musts of childhood including, how to do cartwheels, whistle, and hula-hoop. She continues to play the piano and memorized all 13 Articles of Faith! She is a second mother to her younger siblings and has millions of friends that adore her.
Kyson is four years old and the greatest friend and brother anyone could ask for. He is constantly helping his sisters. He started preschool this year and enjoys it, but loves being at home. He took swimming lessons and can swim great with flippers. Kyson rarely plays with toys, but rather wanders the house exploring and asking questions.
Kinsley is two and fills our lives with sunshine and laughter. She always walks with a hop, skip, and jump. She loves dolls, and spends much of her time playing mommy to them. We are lucky enough to have her sing to us much of the day. She loves books and hates the vacuum.
Hayven joined our family in July and has been such a happy, peaceful baby. The other kids adore her and watch her every move. Great efforts go in to being the one to make her laugh, coo, or smile. It has been fun to enjoy her milestones as a family. Having a baby in our home is a little piece of Heaven for us.
This time of year our thoughts have been on our Savior, Jesus Christ. We hope you feel of His peace this Christmas Season and know of our love and God’s love for each of you. Thank you for your kindness and friendship to our family.
Love, The Stumpes
