Grandpa taught me so much through his never-ending learning and continued caring for all around him. Jaylee knows him as the Grandpa who would always tease her and get her toes.
I feel so lucky that he was so involved in my life and that I truly got to know him. Perhaps now he can see into my heart to know how grateful I am that he sat through numerous dance recitals and basketball games just to be supportive, that he pulled my loose teeth when I was young because in my trusting eye, he was the only one that was qualified, that he opened his home to Mike and I when we didn’t have one of our own, that he was a GRANDPA to the very core and blessed our lives each day we knew him. I LOVE YOU Grandpa. Give Grandma a hug for me!!
