She was very excited all morning but once we got close to her class room the nerves set in.  She had me carry her in  :).  I have to say I enjoyed it.   Her teacher invited the moms to stay the first 15 minutes or so of class.  So together we found her cubby, hung up her backpack, and got her acquainted with kindergarten.  She is on the same table as two girls from our ward so she was excited about that.

Mike and I left with tears in our eyes.  I am excited for her because I know she will love it, but worry because I’m not sure she will learn much.  I hope they can go beyond the alphabet and simple counting.  Her teacher seems amazing so I hope she can push Jaylee to learn.

During the 2 1/2 hours of class… Kyson got one on one time(Kins slept) I think he loves having my attention, but misses his partner in crime.

He anxiously awaited her exit from the school and kept asking when he gets to go.

IMG_8008After school we went straight to Sonic to get ice cream so I could hear all about her big day.  The next night, we let the kids choose where they wanted to go to eat so Mike could hear all about their big days.  They chose Chuck-o-rama (“It has soda, chocolate milk, macaroni and cheese, pizza, and yummy rolls.”)
